This film is one of the best this year in the world. In Spain, it’s the most watched this year. “The Impossible” don’t have a lot of awards now, but in the next months it will have a lot of. The film was shown worldwide on Septembre 10th, 2012 at the International Film Festival in Toronto and in 27th of the same month, projected in Spain International Film Festival of San Sebastian where the protagonist of the film, Ewan McGregor, received one the Donostia award for Lifetime Achievement. The film was commercially released in Spain on October 11. This film it’s really worked. The special effects supervision (Félix Bargés and Pau Costa) work very hard because this film has many special effects. The director Jose Antonio Bayona works very hard too to do this film. in difinitive, everyone has worked hard.

The argument is: Maria (Naomi Watts), Henry (Ewan McGregor) and three children begin their vacation in Thailand winter. On the morning of September 26, the family relaxes around the pool after Christmas day then the sea, become a huge and violent wall of black water invades the hotel grounds. Maria only has time to cream “Henry, children” before being swallowed by the wave. Underwater, Maria is battered and beaten by the rubble untel cshe was on the verge of death. Finally emerges amid a raging sea. Hang malherida clinging to a palm tree, convinced he has lost his entire family. But then, his eldest son, Luke, comes to the surface a few meters ahead. No time to absorb the incomprehensible natural disaster thet just suffered, Maria must fight for the suvival of his own.

" The Impossible" tells the story of a family who lived the Thailand tsunami in late 2004. The film is based on a true story that shocked the director.

the twenty-six of December María Belon lived this reality with her husband Enrique and her sons, Lucas , Tomás and Simón.

Naomi Watts has been with Mary and spoke of the sad tragedy, she recognizes believe in luck and think it is a privilege to meet Naomi,who praises her for her role in the film.

Maria admits that she almost abandoned to death in the moments after the tragedy but when he saw his son Lucas, changed his mind.

She says the film is an excuse to tell the story of many people who came under the sea and conveys the same feelings as they lived and the force that had the love of family.

Mary explains that she wants to share the experience and that life is a tsunami after another, sometimes when you can not think more, you get strength and manage to follow.

This film is very well made and very elaborate, and knows how to bring tears unintentionally. The film makes you suffer because of the emotional pain of the characters and fear.

It is a sad film to be seen as the tsunami engulfed the people and everything going forward but also based on the pursuit and love of family.

Suggest that they are one piece and are strong because they intend to achieve their goal , find the rest of the family and be fine. It's a very powerful and exciting film .
